Film Description

Based on the acclaimed best-selling autobiography by Frank McCourt, this drama tells the story of Frank's life as a child growing up in Limerick in the 1930s. This is a poignant story depicting the poverty, prejudice and hardship experienced by an Irish family but is also told with sensitivity and often scurrilous humour.
