Film Description
Adapted by Ophuls from three short stories by Guy de Maupassant, each relates a tale about pleasure. A favourite of both Godard and Kubrick, the latter commenting that "The staging of these great camera moves appeared more like a beautifully choreographed ballet than anything else".
