Film Description

Gilliam's remarkably inventive take on the tales of Baron Munchausen, who must prove his reputation as one of history's most remarkable adventurers, or be seen as one of the greatest liars of all time. A triumph of the imagination, despite the film's well-known production problems.

Review by Steve Andrews on 4th March 2004

Simply superb. Classic Gilliam escapism wierdness, aided by an excellent cast. If you like other works by Gilliam (i.e. Time Bandits) you will probably like this. Put aside your cynicism, put your feet up, sup some wine and enjoy.
