Review by Anon on 1st September 2001 In the first film, Nolte plays an egocentric artist obsessed with his beautiful assistant Arquette; Coppola's centrepiece is a fairy tale style story of a poor little rich girl endeavouring to reunite her estranged parents whilst returning a bangle to an exotic princess;and the final treat is Woody Allen's hilarious closer, a witty and inventive extended play on Jewish momma jokes with Woody in top form, recoiling in horror from the Kong-like fantasy image of a giant Jewish mother-figure whilst delivering some of his snappiest, funniest one-liners in years. Worth the price of the entire trio on its own!
