Film Description

Reggie Lambert is about to divorce her husband when she finds he has been murdered after converting every penny they owned to cash. She is then pursued by several men, all of whom suspect that she knows where the cash is. As corpses accumulate it becomes increasingly difficult to tell the good guys from the bad. Ingenious, witty and very good entertainment.

Review by J.J on 9th August 2000

Sophisticated Grant and enchanting doe-eyed Hepburn (kitted out by Givenchy) team up in this light-hearted caper that still has some scary moments. The Parisian setting, especially the moonlit boat trip gliding under the Seine bridges, is an integral part. Good old-fashioned escapist entertainment.
