633 squadron is one of the few movies made that feature Dehaviland Mosquitoes. The other movies are the Purple Plain & Mosquito Squadron [which uses alot of footage from 633]. Interesting note is that durign the filming of the Mosquito practing low level in the canyon the filming crew actually went through three set of microphones. The twim Rolls Royce Merlin engines and the canyon walls echoed the sound and blew out the microphone. Plot maybe weak but the flying makes up for it. < less
