Review by Barry Forshaw on 31st August 2006 An intelligent use of resources: that’s the reason for the success of the enterprising company Network, who make the very best case for the various movies they issue, with a respectably enhanced prints and cherishable extras. Take this Jack Gold thriller, for instance: the commentary by specialists in the macabre Kim Newman and Stephen Jones actually has you looking at the film afresh and enumerating its virtues (not least of which is Richard Burton's underrated performance).
