Film Description

The classic story, adapted from a Kipling novel, of a spoiled boy from a rich family who falls overboard from a cruise liner and is brought up by a Portuguese fisherman who teaches him a few of the life's less luxurious lessons. Tracy won an Oscar for Best Actor as the fisherman.
