Film Description

Aka Per Un Pugno Di Dollari. Leone's film was the start of the whole spaghetti western genre and Ennio Morricone's spare and evocative film score perfectly fits the mood. Just as The Magnificent Seven was Kurosawa Americanized, so is this an unofficial reworking of Kurosawa'a Yojimbo. Eastwood's stardom officially began here.
