Brief Encounter (Lean, 1945)
DVD £9.99 RRP £12.99 You save £3.00 (23%)
Film Description A rightly celebrated tear-jerker recreating a little England on a northern railway platform. Johnson and Howard are the respectable middle-class couple who fall deeply in love but ultimately agree not to meet again and to return to their real lives. They do so with such dignity and restraint that it makes their parting all the more moving. Voted 2nd all-time greatest British film and appearing on the BFI top 100.
