The Trouble with Harry
Film Description The Trouble with Harry is that he is dead. Everybody seems to feel responsible for his death and guilt-ridden townspeople bury and dig up Harry's body 4 times. Hitchcock's sly sense of humour is at its most witty and macabre in this black comedy that is one of his most personal works.

Review by CJ on 2nd May 2001 To counterpoint the beautifully understated, droll proceedings, the film unfolds amid the stunningly photographed autumnal beauty of Vermont. A cast perfectly attuned to Hitchcock's ironic, gently subversive intentions is also notable for Shirley MacLaine's excellent screen debut.
Review by cph on 25th February 2000 the best black comedy of it's time
