Film Description

Eric and Christina first met years ago during a tragic and emotional search for a missing child. They now both work at the 'Exotica' nightclub, where their shared history demands a connection stronger than that of 'co-workers'. As their intensely complex relationship develops, it has disturbing repercussions throughout the film.

An exploration of Egoyan's fascination with human relationships, the perilous nature of sexual love, the seduction of voyeurism and the ideology of the family, Exotica brings together characters bound by desire and loss and questions the foundations and misconceptions of their relationships and desires.
