Review by anonymous on 21st February 2000

A hilarious and shocking feature film debut. It explores many of Almodovar's favourite subjects - housewives, the size of the male penis, flamboyant costume, Carmen Maura, kitsch, Madrid housing estates, outrageous sexuality, female friendship, golden showers, consumer culture and much more.
