Film Description

Crushingly funny black comedy about the bottomless hell of the seventh grade. Dawn tries in vain to struggle through what looks like being a long puberty, Her brother's a geek, sister a ballerina wannabe and her only friend a runty neighbour. With a paralysing crush on the school heart-throb as well, she starts to wonder if life might not be better outside New Jersey. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance.
