Greystoke - The Legend Of Tarzan Lord Of The Apes
Film Description This 'authentic' version of the Edgar Rice Burroughs tale was writer Robert Towne's pet project for many years. Although studio wrangling led to him using a pseudonym (actually his dog's name!) for the script, this is still a majestic film with remarkable scenes. Towne's dog was later rewarded with an Oscar nomination for Best Screenplay!
