Film Description

AKA The Hunchback. A fencing master swears to avenge the death of the Duke of Nevers. Hugely enjoyable swashbuckling historical romance that is very energetic and a lot of fun. Great performances from Auteuil, Gillain and Fabrice Luchini help the movie fizz along as this tale of deceit, love, loyalty unfolds towards its predictable (and that isn't a criticism!) denouement.

Fans of Flynn's Robin Hood or the Musketeer sagas of Dumas will find much to enjoy here.
