Review by Lora on 3rd October 2000

A torment to sit through as the storyline is tedious and predictable. Seeing the ship in all its glory is only a diminutive thrill as throughout you're waiting for the iceberg to ravage. The unbecoming performance of Di Caprio is still his PERSONAL best and is somewhat easily won over by the floating cadaver. Winslet on the other hand was tolerable and played the moaning female which Hollywood thrives on so much. It's worth the one watch for watching's sake, but any more would be gratuitously painful.

Review by anonymous on 12th January 2000

Possibly the most vile, money orientated piece of cinema in motion
picture history, buried deep down under Oscar winning special effects, ham acting, a degradation of the English language labelled as a screenplay and Leonardo di Caprio's ego. A must for those who want to be seen enjoying an 'epic' but can't sit through anything with more depth that S club 7.
