Film Description

Delightful, dark, stop-motion animated modern classic. What happens when the spirits of Halloween decide they would like a go at this Christmas-thing they've heard so much about? Well, for starters, they kidnap Father Christmas... Animator Henry Selick next went on to James and the Giant Peach, but this may well be his finest hour, and the songs (and singing voice) of Danny Elfman add to the whole Addams Family / feelgood tone of it all.
