The Vanishing
Film Description The original version of George Sluizer’s masterpiece. A Dutch couple are on a driving holiday in France. Whilst stopped at a service station the woman vanishes without trace or explanation. The initial disbelief, frustration and anger felt by our hero becomes overwhelming obsession. He continues to seek the truth of her disappearance for years after the event, while his life disintegrates around him.
