The Family Way

Roy Boulting, 1966

Film Description

Based on Bill Naughton's play 'All in Good Time', this is a warm and often funny story of an innocent young couple who marry but are unable to consummate their relationship due to having to live with the parents of the young man. John Mills excels as the gruff working class father who just doesn't understand the younger generation. Considered controversial on release in 1966.
