Film Description A typical Fellini, carnival-like world is portrayed as he satirises television and the specious nature of instant fame. A motley assortment of characters achieve transient notoriety by appearing on a TV show. Among them are a couple of retired cabaret artistes recreating their Ginger and Fred dancing routine. Satire aside, the power of nostalgia is evoked touchingly in a film of affectionate charm. Masina and Mastroianni are magnificent.
