After stealing from the mob, Nicky (Cassavetes) finds out they have put a contract on him. He turns to lifelong friend Mikey (Falk) for help - although it appears likely that Mikey may well be the trigger man Nicky has been dreading. An unusual gangster movie, which takes us 'Sopranos style' into the lives and pasttimes of the gangsters.
