Journey to the Far Side of the Sun

Film Description

Scientists discover a new planet in the solar system hidden on the far side of the Sun. It shares the Earth's orbit and revolves at exactly the same speed so that it remained long undiscovered. A consortium of nations collaborate to send two men to the new planet. They crash on the surface - but are surprised to wake up back on Earth, where they are accused of turning back halfway.

Produced by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, the film features music by Barry Gray and a number of actors who also starred in their series, UFO.
