Film Description

A critically acclaimed and politically charged film based on the Italian best-selling novel ‘Il Fasciocomunista’, it follows the lives of two feuding brothers against a backdrop of political upheaval in 1960s and 70s Italy. Accio (Elio Germano - Romanzo Criminale, Respiro) is a trouble-maker. Impulsive and explosive he is always a cause of despair to his parents. His brother, Manrico (Riccardo Scamarcio- Eden is West, Romanzo Criminale, The Best of Youth) is handsome, charismatic, loved by all, but just as dangerous. The two brothers have opposite political beliefs but fall in love with the same woman and are pulled apart.
