Film Description

A pregnant Protestant teenager romances a Catholic sailor on an oppressively sectarian Greenock council estate. The play caused a stir in Scotland on its first broadcast with people appalled by the prejudice shown, but playwright Peter McDougall's first televised script was also proclaimed as an exciting debut.
