Film Description

A film version of Ken Loach's BBC 'Wednesday Play' in which a girl from a rich family in Chelsea decides to go 'slumming' in the depressed Battersea area, where she gets a flat and starts working in a factory. With a soundtrack by Manfred Mann the film vividly captures the feel of what it was like to be young and working class at the time.
