Film Description

Swashbuckling adventure starring Hayden Christensen and Mischa Barton. Set in a Black Death-ravaged Florence, the story follows Lorenzo de Lamberti (Christensen), an adventurous young man who finds himself on the wrong side of the wealthy and powerful Gerbino de la Ratta (Tim Roth). When Gerbino threatens to kill Lorenzo, Lorenzo escapes from Florence and finds refuge working as a gardener in a convent. At the convent, he meets Pampinea Anastagi (Barton), who he falls in love with. But Lorenzo must compete with two other men for Pampinea's affections.
