Film Description
Francis Ford Coppola's first film in ten years is an ambitious parable set on the eve of WWII. Tim Roth plays a septuagenarian professor who, after being stuck by lightning, finds himself miraculously rejuvenated. But soon the Third Reich takes an interest in his abilities. Based on the novella by Mircea Eliade, Coppola's sprawling exploration of love, memory, and lost time brims with rich symbolism and inventive visuals.
