Film Description

Three of the most acclaimed documentaries from the everyman activist filmmaker Michael Moore - Sicko (2007), Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004) and Bowling for Columbine (2002).

Moore has made some of the most successful documentaries of all time, films that demonstrate his genius for pointing out the absurdity, hypocrisy and injustice in modern America. One by one he has targeted and exposed some of the biggest and most powerful institutions in the USA today, including corporate America (Roger & Me), gun control (Bowling for Columbine) and the US healthcare system (Sicko). With his in-your-face approach, humour, jocular screen presence, brilliant use of archive footage, and gift for attention-grabbing stunts, Moore goes straight for the jugular of his chosen subjects. The results are at once eye-opening, shocking, persuasive and also very funny.
