Film Description

Produced, written and directed by some of the mainstays behind the phenomenon that was The Avengers, Mister Jerico features John Steed himself, Patrick Macnee, in the star role, with strong support from Connie Stevens and Herbert Lom. Unseen anywhere since its original transmission in 1969, Mister Jerico is a must for Avengers aficionados everywhere.

In an intricate tale of double identity and diamond theft, Dudley Jerico sets out to rob corrupt millionaire Victor Rosso of his famous Gemini diamond. Rosso is obsessed with obtaining the stone’s twin, and so Jerico obtains a perfect copy of the stone as part of his plan to swindle Rosso, but before he can start the con a woman from Paris called Mademoiselle Claudine appears, claiming she has the twin Gemini diamond. Rosso knows that one of them is lying, but which one?
