The Prisoner of Zenda (1937 & 1952 Versions)
Film Description Two famous adaptations of Anthony Hope's novel, the 1937 version (Dir: John Cromwell) with Ronald Colman taking the leading role, and the 1952 (Dir: Richard Thorpe) with Stewart Granger as the Englishman on vacation in a Ruritarian kingdom, who is recruited to impersonate his cousin, the soon-to-be-crowned king when the monarch is drugged and kidnapped.
