Film Description

Using specially treated canvases, Pablo Picasso creates new paintings for this unique close-up study of a creative genius at work. Director Henri-Georges Clouzot made his name as a master of suspense, and this documentary maintains a similar tension, especially when Picasso has second thoughts partway through one of the sessions.
