Review by Barry Forshaw on 23rd October 2007 Many is the thriller that has hopefully worn the sobriquet ‘Hitchcockian’, and one has to say that such comparisons are usually made more in hope than achievement. But if such is the case here, there are still some pleasures to be had from the plotting and performances in this canonical peace, with imported American star Anne Baxter suffering as a wealthy young woman whose life is turned upside down by the unexpected appearance of a young man (an uncharismatic Richard Todd) who claims to be her dead brother.
