Film Description

Following a near-death experience, Yella (Nina Hoss) flees her eastern German hometown and broken marriage to start over in Hanover. After finding work with an ambitious young executive, Yella enters a ruthless business world. But soon ghosts from her past threaten to return to destroy her new life. Director Christian Petzold piles on the tension right up to a stunning denouement.
