Film Description

Three cowboys, mistaken for members of an outlaw gang, are relentlessly pursued by a posse in this western, scripted and produced by Jack Nicholson. Filmed in Utah back-to-back with The Shooting, it has an unsentimental, minimalist aesthetic, and Hellman talked of cutting out as much dialogue as he could and letting the pictures tell the story.
