Film Description

A humorous, candid account of the Beatles' first visit to America in February 1964, filmed by renowned documentary filmmaking team Albert and David Maysles, who followed the Fab Four for five days, from the crazed JFK airport reception to unguarded moments inside the Plaza Hotel. The musical portion of the film comes from the Beatles' live recorded performances on the Ed Sullivan Show.
