Film Description

Comprises: On Golden Pond (1981), an Oscar-winning film about the conflict faced by an elderly couple living in the backwaters of New England when their only daughter brings her lover and her son to stay.
African Queen (1951). Bogart won an Oscar for his performance as the hard-drinking, cussing steamer captain Charlie Allnut, who takes on a passenger in the shape of prim and proper Rose Sayer in this comedy/adventure of love and survival in World War I Africa. Good chemistry between the leads makes this a thoroughly entertaining film.
Iron Petticoat (1956). When a USAF pilot shoots down a Russian MIG which has strayed into American air space, the scene is set for a major battle of the sexes, as Hepburn's Russian aviator and Hope's American Captain clash ideologies and fall in love. A remake of Ninotchka.
This collection also features an in-depth interview between Hepburn and the broadcaster Clive James.
