Colin Firth takes the main role in this gripping and emotionally involving film.

The Falklands Play (Dir. Michael Samuels)

Originally commissioned by the BBC in 1987 but unfilmed until 2002, this political drama, interwoven with news clips of the historical events, gives an insight into the anguish brought about by the unexpected war in the South Atlantic. Patricia Hodge is outstanding as the former British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher. Written by Ian Curteis.
