Film Description

When diphtheria threatens the children of a remote Alaskan village, Balto, a half-husky, half wolf, must lead a 600 mile dog team to fetch supplies. Based on the true story which established the traditional Iditarod dog sled race, Balto features an outstanding voice cast, and unlike many animated films, has a genuinely dramatic storyline which will grip audiences young and old. Also includes the 2002 sequel.
