Film Description

Made by the British Army Film Unit using film supplied by British, Indian and American combat cameramen, Burma Victory captures all the drama and brutality of the Burma Campaign, making extensive use of combat footage and reviewing the strategy and tactics employed. The DVD includes five bonus features, covering the Stilwell Road, the war in the Far East, Mountbatten’s memories of the campaign, the 14th Army offensive and three minutes of outtakes from Burma Victory itself.
