Film Description

Rita Tushingham plays a woman who yearns to leave her drab Liverpool life and move to London, but the big city holds some nasty surprises for the naïve young woman in the shape of a psychotic man with whom she embarks upon a bizarre and dangerous relationship. Marketed as 'A Love Story from Hammer', this psycho-sexual thriller, directed by Peter Collinson of 'The Italian Job' fame, remains one of Hammer's most disturbing and genuinely adult films.
