Film Description

A dramatisation of the events of 9/11 that has received praise for its honest depiction of the human stories, sentimental though they may be. The film focuses on the rescue of two police officers who were among the last survivors pulled from the rubble. Surprisingly, given Stone's previous work, left-wing views are kept at bay. Instead, he calls it a simple dedication to the heroism and sadness of the day.
