Film Description

Nominated for twelve Oscars and winner of three, this is a great historical epic, in which a radical American journalist is stunned by the revolution in Russia, and aims to brings its idealism back to the United States. This features possibly Diane Keaton's best performance as the wife who leaves her husband to join the crusade, while Jack Nicholson delivers a strong supporting turn as playwright Eugene O'Neill.
