Film Description

Based on his own experiences groing up in Swaziland, Grant makes his directorial debut with this entertaining coming-of-age drama which opened the 2005 Edinburgh Film Festival. When the country is given independence, the ex-pat community is thrown into turmoil as it signifies the end of a pampered era. The young protagonist, meanwhile, finds love for the first time and copes with his casting in the lead role of the school play, Camelot.
