Film Description

The basis of Daniel Defoe's story gets turned around in this adaptation with the emphasis shifting to Friday (Richard Roundtree) who 'discovers' and eventually comes to hate Crusoe, played by Peter O'Toole. The result is a suspenseful, unusual and provocative film.
