Film Description

The indisputable master of Baroque music, Johann Sebastian Bach’s reputation is greater now than ever. Now his entire organ works are to be made available on DVD for the first time through the release of the highly-acclaimed BBC2 television series, 21st Century Bach. Played by the organist of York Minister, John Scott Whiteley, one of the world’s most accomplished Bach interpreters, the works are played on the organs originally used by Bach himself.

Review by Ron Harvey on 17th July 2007

The off shore purveyors of these so called "Complete Organ Works" should be charged with criminal deception under s.16 of the Theft Act.
That is what it promises on the front cover, "complete" while as a matter of fact "complete" it most definitely what it is not.
Before you buy the first volume, check how many of the works it actually provides, because the list that appears on the inside of the cover is not a list of what those two discs actually contain.
