Film Description

A film based on the true events from the infamous Stieglitz student tragedy of 1927. Set in the Weimar republic, two young men share a romantic view of life and its possibilities. Paul is a shy poet from a working-class family, while daredevil Guenther comes from the aristocracy. Rebellious and passionate, both boys reject the emptiness of their parents' world and create a pact that when love fails them, they will end their lives. Over a weekend at a bohemian party, their reckless agreement is put to the ultimate test.
