The District Nurse (Series 1)
Film Description All the episodes from the first series of District Nurse, a fondly-remembered series set in the 1920s in a poor Welsh mining village. Newly-arrived District Nurse Megan Roberts is treated with deep suspicion by many of the locals, as she is both educated and an outsider. As the strong-willed Megan fights to bring what comfort she can, she finds herself battling with powerful farmers, local officials and mine owners who care nothing for the villagers' welfare.
