Film Description

A pairing of films from Gus Van Sant. Last Days (2005), inspired by the suicide of Nirvana's front man Kurt Cobain, is is Van Sant's meditation on the inner turmoil of a troubled musician in the last hours of his life. Elephant (2003) depicts a high school massacre at the hands of two detached, gun-toting students and is a fictional companion piece to Michael Moore's Bowling for Columbine.
