Film Description

The military investigates the mysterious disappearance of an entire city, uncovering an enormous robot as the culprit. They also discover the alien Mysterians, who have left their own planet to seek asylum on Earth. A classic of Japanese sci-fi made by the same team responsible for the huge success of Godzilla. As in that movie, the dangers of the atomic bomb are present, here combined with alien invasion (for the first time in Japanese cinema).
